1. Who we are
Ward Capital London ("Ward Capital", "we", "us") provides regulated payment and currency services to businesses and private clients. For the purposes of UK data protection law, Ward Capital is the controller of the personal data described in this policy.
2. What we collect
Identity and contact details you give us when opening an account; verification documents required by law; transaction details when you trade or transfer; and technical data, such as device and usage information, when you use this website.
3. How we use it
To open and run your account, execute your instructions, meet our legal obligations (including know-your-customer and anti-money-laundering checks), keep the service secure, and tell you about services you have asked to hear about. We do not sell personal data.
4. Who we share it with
Regulated banking and payment partners who hold client funds and settle transactions; identity-verification and screening providers; professional advisers and auditors; and authorities where the law requires it. Each partner receives only what it needs.
5. International transfers
Because payments cross borders, some data does too. Where personal data leaves the UK, we rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses, and hold partners to equivalent standards of protection.
6. How long we keep it
For as long as you hold an account with us and, after it closes, for the periods financial-services law requires (typically five to six years for transaction and identity records). We then delete or anonymise it.
7. Cookies
This site uses strictly necessary cookies to keep it working and, with your consent, analytics cookies to understand how it is used. You can withdraw consent at any time in your browser settings; the site works without analytics cookies.
8. Your rights
You may ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict certain processing, and take your data elsewhere. Some rights are limited where the law requires us to keep records. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
